Often causes no symptoms. When present, you may notice burning when you pee, unusual discharge, lower-belly/pelvic pain, bleeding after intercourse, or testicular discomfort.

Can be silent and show no symptoms. Possible signs include painful urination, yellow or green discharge, pelvic pain, testicular pain, or soreness/bleeding in the throat or rectum after exposure.

May cause itching or burning, discomfort during sex or urination, and a frothy discharge that can have a stronger smell. Many men have mild or no symptoms.

Commonly present without causing symptoms. In some people, may be linked to mild urethral irritation, light discharge, or pelvic discomfort.

Can cause tender, painful sores on the genitals and swollen, sore lymph nodes in the groin.

Often linked with bacterial vaginosis. May cause a thin gray-white discharge with a noticeable odor and mild itching or irritation; some people have no symptoms.

Can lead to intense itching, redness or irritation, and thick white discharge; men may notice itching or redness on the head of the penis.

Also commonly referred to as Syphilis. Early sign is usually a single painless sore where the germ entered. Weeks later, some people develop a body rash (often on the palms/soles), fever, swollen glands, or a sore throat.

Can affect the mouth or genitals. Symptoms may include small clusters of blisters or tender breaks in the skin, burning or tingling before spots appear, and soreness that heals over days to weeks. Many people notice very mild or no symptoms between episodes.

Usually affects the genitals. Symptoms may include recurring small blisters or open sores, skin sensitivity or itching in the area, and discomfort with urination when sores are present. Long stretches without noticeable symptoms are common.
